Our Story

Vegan Side Project started as something small between the two of us. Back in 2022, one of us began eating vegan, But that shift didn’t happen overnight.

We tried a lot of recipes. Some were okay, many were terrible. But over time, we started to find meals we genuinely loved. We began combining tricks from different recipes, adjusting ingredients, and slowly building a collection of plant-based dishes that actually excited us.

It became a bit of a ritual: every time we hit on something truly delicious, we’d say, “This would go on the menu at our future lunch café.” That running joke turned into something real — and in 2025, we created this site to share the recipes we really believe in.

We both work full-time — one of us as a videographer, the other building a healthcare platform — so this site isn’t our job. It’s our side project. A place where we put only the best: the meals we make again and again, because they’re simple, satisfying, and worth sharing.

This is not a recipe dump. Every dish we share has been tested, adjusted, and chosen because it actually works — in our kitchen and in real life. No trendy ingredients, no 12-step processes, just meals that hit the spot.
